"III: Indigo Blues" is the third studio album by Dutch rock band Black Bottle Riot, released on September 11, 2015, via the independent European label Suburban Records.
The album marked a significant and dramatic milestone in the band's history: the carefree rock 'n' roll frenzy of previous years was replaced by mature, deeply personal, dark, and emotionally charged music.
The period between their second album, Soul in Exile (2013), and the recording of this album proved extremely difficult for the musicians. In 2014, the band faced a series of personal upheavals: from prolonged depression and divorce to alcohol addiction, job loss, homelessness, and the death of close friends. All these dark experiences inevitably filtered into the band's lyrics and guitar riffs.
