Black Bottle Riot - Soul In Exile (2013)

Black Bottle Riot’s second full length album has a raw edge to it. It’s almost as if you’re standing in the rehearsal room, imbued with the smell of stale cigarettes, hot vacuum tubes and sweat. Soul In Exile was recorded live in an intense week at As Loud As studios with producer Sven Lens. A minimum of overdubs and close to none effects lead this album to being very direct, honest and dynamic. The lyrics deal with different forms of today’s hedonism, modern yet timeless daily insecurities and psychotic adventures of a boggled mind.
