Eroc - Eroc 1 (1975)

Eroc's debut solo album, Eroc 1, released in 1975 on the iconic German label Brain, became a fundamental milestone in the history of experimental krautrock and early electronic music. Recorded alone in his home studio using portable reel-to-reel tape recorders, the album showcased his unique talent for combining innovative studio technology with eccentric German humor and pastoral melodies. Unlike the epic symphonic prog of Grobschnitt, Eroc's first solo effort immerses the listener in a world of micro-sounds, samples, backmasking, and absurdist radio dramas that paved the way for future European synth-pop and avant-garde.
