Eroc - Changing Skies (Reissue, Remastered) (1987)

Eroc's fifth solo album, Changing Skies, originally released in 1987 on Metronome, bridged the gap between his early analog kraut experiments and his mature work in high-end audio engineering. This reissue, featuring a comprehensive digital remaster (performed by Eroc himself at his Mastering Ranch), showcases meticulous attention to frequency balance and spatiality. Recorded between 1983 and 1986 in home and mobile studios in Germany, Denmark, and Norway, the album combines the lightness of late-'80s synth-pop, pastoral acoustic themes, and Eroc's signature eccentric humor, with bonus material from the Woodhouse Studios archives.
