Eroc - Eroc 4 (Reissue, Remastered) (1982)

Eroc 4 (1982) is the final installment in Eroc's numbered solo series, released at the end of the "golden era" of German electronica and krautrock. Unlike the deep analog cosmism of Zwei (1976) and the atmospheric Eroc 3 (1979), the fourth album reflects the aesthetics of the early 1980s: the introduction of early digital synthesizers, drum machines, and influences from the Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW) wave. At the same time, Eroc retains his unique signature humor, absurdist spoken interludes in German, and impeccable tape editing, creating an ironic yet technically sophisticated concept album.
