"Different Worlds" is the second studio album by the American neo-prog band Salem Hill (from Tennessee), released in 1993. This album cemented the band's shift in approach to music: while their 1992 self-titled debut was rooted in classic 70s rock, with "Different Worlds" the band definitively embraced the large-scale conceptual structures of progressive rock.
The album's music focuses on vibrant melodic lines, harmonious vocals, rich organ and synthesizer parts (in the spirit of classic Mellotron and Hammond), and guitar solos.
