VA - War Room - Music From And Inspired By The Original Motion Picture (2015)

Songs from high-profile contemporary Christian and gospel artists are showcased on this compilation of "music from and inspired by the original motion picture" War Room. Most of the selections, including Mandisa's "Press On," Vickie Winans' "Shake Yourself Loose," and Tenth Avenue North's "Healing Begins," were previously available on the artists' studio albums, while Steven Curtis Chapman's "Warrior" is provided for the first time here. For those who are just getting into modern Christian and gospel music, this functions as an adequate sampling outside the context of the movie.~ Review by Andy Kellman
