Tenth Avenue North - Live: Inside & In Between (2011)

Tenth Avenue North's modern worship, a cross between Casting Crowns and Jars of Clay, finds even more traction in a live worship setting. This EP, recorded live in Charleston, South Carolina, shows the contemporary Christian band at its most personal, but more importantly, it shows how far they've come in the three short years since their debut. The CD/DVD combo finds lead singer Mike Donehey freely interacting with the crowd, and pumping plenty of emotion into extended renditions of favorites like "You Are More," "Love Is Here," "Healing Begins," and more. Inside and In Between is a solid companion piece for fans; the only downside is its brevity (just six songs on the CD, hardly an adequate tribute to the band's depth and staying power).
