Jack Raymond - Mr. Know it All (2026)

Australian folk, roots and blues songwriter Jack Raymond will release his second studio album, Mr. Know It All, on Monday 28 September, bringing together eight songs about family, addiction, relationships, history, inherited beliefs and the strange ways we try to make sense of the lives we’re living. Where Raymond’s debut The Long Story Short was his first real experience in a studio, Mr. Know It All was given time to breathe. Raymond and producer Ryan Tracey spent three weeks at Scribble Gum Farm on the Sunshine Coast pulling the songs apart, experimenting and finding the sounds that belonged around them.
The result is darker and more adventurous, with electric guitars, haunting textures and plenty of space around the storytelling. SOUNDCLOUD GOOGLE DRIVE FROM THE FAMILY STORY BEHIND HOLLOW TREES AND THE ADDICTIONS EXPLORED IN PRISONER, TO TWO PEOPLE BUILDING A FUTURE IN SHIPS IN THE NIGHT, THE CALL TO ACTION OF BREAK THE MOULD, AND THE HISTORY HELD IN THE LANDSCAPE OF RUN YANDINA RUN, THESE ARE ULTIMATELY SONGS ABOUT ORDINARY PEOPLE TRYING TO WORK THINGS OUT. HUNDREDS OF PHYSICAL COPIES OF MR. KNOW IT ALL HAVE ALREADY SOLD AHEAD OF RELEASE. RAYMOND WILL LAUNCH THE RECORD ACROSS SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER WITH SHOWS AT MT NIMMEL HALL, THE JUNK BAR, MAPLETON PUBLIC HOUSE AND NOOSA ARTS THEATRE, BEFORE A LARGER AUSTRALIAN TOUR FOLLOWS FROM JANUARY THROUGH MARCH 2027. MR. KNOW IT ALL IS OUT MONDAY 28 SEPTEMBER 2026.
