We're in the Water - The Dome (2026) [Hi-Res]

We’re in the Water release The Dome, the final instalment of their 36-song Trilogy, on OK Music.

Following The Steeple (the mind album) and The Belltower (the body album), The Dome explores the spirit: connection, hope, resilience, compassion, love and our capacity to evolve. Each album interprets its themes through the metaphor of an architectural space for worship, celebration and contemplation.

Fil describes the completed Trilogy as “a colourful collection that represents me well”, combining deeply personal lyrics with a wide range of musical influences, collaborations and the addition of live string quartet 12 Ensemble. The songs explore finding balance, facing ourselves honestly, reflecting on what matters, letting go of old identities and navigating the complexities of human relationships, with different vocalists bringing shifting perspectives to the journey.

At its heart, The Dome represents a place of renewal and quiet strength: somewhere to return, to reconnect with ourselves and face the world again with hope, strength and kindness. As Fil reflects, “human existence is messy, beautiful, confusing, ridiculous and extraordinary, and we’re all making our way through it together.” Where the previous two albums explored how we think and how we live, The Dome asks how our spirit is changed by growth.
