Qa'a - Chi'en (2009)

Qa'a's album "Chi'en" is a monumental and somber sonic canvas that immerses the listener in a state of altered consciousness. The music is a blend of primal shamanism, heavy hypnotic psychedelia, and unpredictable noisy avant-garde.
The compositions are built on looped, trance-like rhythms, overlaid with chaotic guitar feedback, the screeching of analog synthesizers, brass instruments, and expressive, sometimes frightening vocals. This album is not for easy listening; it feels like a single, dense ritual performance.
