Hypixi !!! - Quarter Vision (Anniversary) (2026)

During the making of his brilliant debut album Quarter Vision (2022), Hypixi !!! took cues from his established peers such as HOME, yu-utsu (憂鬱), Hotel Pools and Emil Rottmayer. From the starry-eyed, cinematic washes of “Sonder” to the trancey atmospheric stabs of “Beyond Our Signals”, it’s also a homage to a decades-deep canon of dreamy, introspective electronic music. But despite its vintage magenta sound, these tunes couldn’t have been made at any other point in time than the early 2020s, when a whole generation was involuntarily locked up in their bedrooms – Quarter Vision sounds like a ray of neon light at the end of the pandemic tunnel.
