Melodyssey is the 5th personal album of composer and producer Kyriakos Moustakas following the releases of Outerland, Retronome, Scene Missing and Outerland II.
A journey to soundscapes influenced by the electronic sound and analog synths of the 70's, Melodyssey balances between instrumental and vocal compositions with strong melodic lines and a range of vocals including English, French and Japanese.
The album marks the 3rd collaboration of Sundayman with George Manoloudis after Retronome and Scene Missing, with George writing lyrics, singing and curating the composer's album artworks.
Dimitris Aronis and Sacha Reznik have also written lyrics and sung οn Melodyssey. Ioanna Morphi sings on two tracks while Yoshiko Sofia Udagawa sings on the opening track.
