The album SONGS OF LOVE is a compilation of romantic standards and classic songs performed by Jim Reeves, posthumously re-imagined through updated studio recording techniques. Produced by Chet Atkins with input from Mary Reeves, the project set Jim Reeves’s original vocal tracks against newly added string and orchestral arrangements crafted by Anita Kerr, Bill McElhiney, and D. Bergen White. Recorded at RCA "Nashville Sound" Studios, the ten-track collection highlights themes of devotion and affection, backed by leading Nashville studio musicians and engineers.
