Alphataurus – Live in Bloom (2012)

Live in Bloom (2012) is the triumphant return of Italian prog veterans Alphataurus, captured on film. Recorded at the Bloom Festival in Mezzago, Milan, in November 2010, this live release marks the band's first official album since their classic 1973 debut. While retaining the original rhythm section and key architects of their sound—guitarist Guido Vasichello and keyboardist Pietro Pellegrini—the band recruited new vocalist Giorgio Santandrea. The album not only flawlessly reproduces the entire 1973 classic with modern power but also presents new compositions, proving the band's viability in the 21st century.
