Fotosputnik - Incantations for a Tenrec (2024)

Incantations for a Tenrec is an album by the experimental rock project Fotosputnik, combining elements of psychedelia, post-rock, krautrock, and ambient. The album's title ("Incantations for a Tenrec") sets the surreal and mystical tone for the entire work.

The album's sound is built on hypnotic repetitive rhythms, guitar textures with delay and fuzz effects, and atmospheric synth backings. The tracks flow seamlessly into one another, creating an immersive experience. The music balances between meditative, hypnotic passages and dynamic climaxes with a dense rock sound.
