Split Dogs - Nice N' Rough (2026) [Hi-Res]

BAND/ARTIST: Split Dogs

Bristol-based garage rock quartet Split Dogs released their sophomore album Nice N' Rough, recorded at The Station House studio in Leeds, a repurposed Victorian police station. The recording process was helmed by producer Jonah Falco (drummer for punk outfit Fucked Up) and engineer James Atkinson (formerly of hardcore act Voorhees). The album features thirteen high-energy tracks influenced by the raw power of proto-punk and glam rock, drawing inspiration from The Stooges, Plasmatics, New York Dolls, and Motörhead. Beneath front-person Harry Martinez's explosive rock 'n' roll vocal performance lie deeply personal lyrics addressing mental health, overcoming the lingering effects of parental abuse, and embracing personal autonomy.
