Deuter - San (1985)

San (1985) is one of Georg Deutter's key relaxation and meditative albums of the mid-1980s. The title "San" derives from the Japanese honorific suffix and the concept of "mountain" (Mount San), reflecting the album's underlying philosophy—stillness, sublimity, peace, and oneness with nature. The record continues Deutter's evolution from the early krautrock of the 1970s to a transparent, spatial new age, where Japanese acoustic aesthetics intertwine with European analog synthesis.
