Deuter - Mirage (2019)

Mirage (2019) is a late, deeply contemplative album by legendary German musician Georg Deuter, whose musical career began in the 1970s with experimental krautrock and proto-ambient records (D, Aum) on the renowned Brain label. On Mirage, Deuter hones his craft of creating meditative acoustic and electronic landscapes. The release serves as a masterclass in the use of space, pauses, and subtle harmonic shifts, offering the listener a cinematic journey through illusory sonic hazes (hence the title "Mirage").
