Alex Oriental Experience - Anthology More Than 40 Years Of Rock (2010)

Anthology More Than 40 Years of Rock (2010) is a comprehensive, comprehensive document that draws a line under the four-decade-long history of one of the most unique phenomena of the German rock scene—the Alex Oriental Experience (AOE). The band's founder, Alex Wiska, became renowned as an innovator, having first integrated the Turkish string instrument bağlama (saz) into the context of hard-edged krautrock and European psychedelia. The anthology includes key compositions, rare recordings, and remastered versions, demonstrating the evolution of his unique "Oriental rock" from the late 1960s to the 2010s.
