The seventh studio album by Puerto Rican percussionist and bandleader Roberto Roena and his ensemble Su Apollo Sound, titled Lucky 7, was released in 1976 on the iconic Fania Records label at the height of the group's popularity, while their previous record was still dominating the radio charts. The album solidified the group's innovative salsa sound—pioneered by integrating saxophone into the traditional brass section—and delivered enduring Latin music classics such as "Mi Desengano," "Fea," and "Que Me Castigue Dios." Commemorating its 50th anniversary, an all-analog (AAA) reissue remastered from the original master tapes arrives on 180-gram vinyl housed in an authentic tip-on jacket via Craft Recordings and Fania.
