In January 2025, the Ngwaka Son Systéme collective organized educational workshops in Kinshasa focused on crafting musical instruments for local youth. Supported by the Roskilde Africa Fund, the initiative resulted in the "Lipate EP," recorded at Quibla Studio. The release integrates authentic Congolese sounds with Latin American electronic music, strengthening transcontinental cultural ties. The project serves to document unique regional musical practices and promote Kinshasa's innovative artistry on a global scale.
