The album Emblema is the culmination of a long-standing collaboration between Italian composer Osvaldo Coluccino and his performers, originating in Venice in 2016. The release consists entirely of world premiere recordings, intentionally omitting the large-scale composition Emblema 2 to maintain a more intimate, chamber-oriented aesthetic. Coluccino, a Milan-educated composer and poet, enjoys significant international acclaim; his works are frequently commissioned by prestigious Italian cultural institutions and performed globally.
