Tomaz Gajst & Big Band RTV Slovenija - We Will Never Be the Same (2025) [Hi-Res]

ZKP RTV Slovenia, in cooperation with Radio Slovenia - Prvi program and RTV Slovenia Music Production we are releasing the album We Will Never Be the Same. It is an original project by trumpeter Tomaž Gajšt. His body of work is imbued with the experience he has gained through his numerous collaborations and recreations of the works of his closest musical friends. His compositions reflect contrasts and a variety of musical elements. Although rooted in the jazz tradition, they sound fresh and modern. Gajšt's musical ideas are complemented in some of the compositions by various lyricists (Urška Supej, Tsarina M. Krajnčan, Primož Vitez, Robert Jukič). All of this is enhanced by Lojze Krajnčan's excellent orchestral arrangements. Gajšt also invited three singers — Nina Strnad, Maša But and Ana Čop — as well as drummer Kristijan Krajnčan.
