The album, titled Queen Forever, also includes rarities and previously unknown recordings, including a joint song between Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson.

The Queen Forever compilation, which will be released in November by Virgin, consists mostly of well-known Queen hits and their slightly different interpretations, but the band has also selected some extras.

"We put songs on the album that show our development better than the big hits," says guitarist Brian May, who was the spiritual father of the collection along with drummer Roger Taylor.

"There Must Be More To Life Than This" with Michael Jackson was originally intended for the 1981 album Hot Space, but was never completed: Freddie Mercury later sang the song with Michael Jackson, which almost made it onto 1984's The Works, but was ultimately dropped, and Freddie released a solo version on his 1985 solo album, Mr. Bad Guy. The current version, remixed by William Orbit, features Freddie and Jacko, as well as the original 1981 tracks.

"Let Me In Your Heart" by May was also recorded for The Works, but was never completed at the time and has never been released.

The third newly released track, "Love Kills," was written by Freddie with Giorgio Moroder in 1984, and a modified version of it became the singer's solo hit a year later. However, this is the original version, with May, Taylor and John Deacon in it.
