March 31, 1974 is an important date in the history of rock music. It was then that the now legendary Queen gave their first solo concert. Queen had already released their first two albums, but many considered the idea of performing at London's Rainbow Theatre to be too ambitious. After the sold-out concert, however, no one had any doubt that they would become one of the greatest bands of all time.

To mark the 40th anniversary of the performance, the concert recording was released on CD, DVD and Blu-Ray.

The special feature of the release is that it also includes previously unreleased songs, so it also has surprises in store for true Queen fans.
