Hiroe Sekine - One World One Sun (2017)

Like the 1st and 2nd albums, this album was produced by Russell Ferrante (Grammy Award-winning artist), and this time, it incorporates elements of folk music and scales and instruments from Japan, Spain, Ireland, India, Peru, and other countries (from Japan, Hiromitsu Agatsuma on Tsugaru Shamisen and Yukihiro Isso on Nohkan). The album is a fusion of these elements and jazz with 10 songs all composed by Hiroe Sekine. Each song is named after the sun or daylight.

The album was named the Best World Music album released in 2017 by Aquarian Weekly, a widely read magazine in and around New York City.

The Song, "Nippon Barre," won first place in the jazz category in the International Songwriting Competition in 2018.
