This album commemorates the 25th anniversary of the solo debut of Taro Hakase, one of Japan's leading violinists. It is an exciting album in which he plays a number of hit songs such as "Jonetsu Tairiku" and "Etopirika" with his 2020 tour members.
Taro Hakase (葉加瀬 太郎 Hakase Tarō, born January 23, 1968 in Suita, Osaka Prefecture) is a Japanese musician who specialises as a violinist.
Taro is an extraordinary solo violinist whose music is not confined to standard classical boundaries. He has a much wider crossover fan base than most traditional classical musicians. Respected as one of the most talented contemporary Japanese violinists and composers, his artistic abilities reach far beyond music.
He is best known internationally for playing the violin on Celine Dion's song "To Love You More" which appears on the US edition of her Let's Talk About Love album. He performed "Addio monti (I promessi sposi)" on the 2007 Ennio Morricone tribute album We All Love Ennio Morricone, and also composed the album Symphonic Poem "Hope", a collection of themes used in promotional videos for Final Fantasy XII.
In his native Japan, his song "Another Sky" is All Nippon Airways' theme song, while "Color Your Life" is Shinsei Bank's theme song.
