Lori Andrews - Going Home (2002)

The second Christmas jazz album by harpist Lori Andrews has her performing in a trio with Bart Samolis (bass and guitar) and Mark Hollingsworth (sax and flute). With the exception of Samolis' title cut, all of the songs are famous Christmas-oriented tunes, including "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "The Christmas Song," and "Winter Wonderland." The tempos are relaxed, the interpretations are melodic and respectful, and Andrews' beautiful instrument stars throughout.
