There wasn't much time for Bing to relax after completing work on 'Road To Utopia' in March 1944 (covered in Vol. 3 - JASMINE JASCD 121/2) before he returned to Paramount on May 1 to appear in 'Here Come The Waves'. Those few short weeks were occupied with recording for the AFRS programmes 'G.I. Journal', 'Personal Album' and 'Command Performance' and there was his very successful weekly radio show for NBC - the Kraft Music Hall. A lot of time was also spent on fund raising events many of which involved golf matches, all designed to help the war effort.
