New York City's Planetary People create a dynamic fusion of funk, jazz, hip-hop, and more—grooves from space from your new favorite extraterrestrials. ​ Formed in 2014, the band found new momentum in 2020 with their #planetarytransmissions project, releasing a new song and video every week during the COVID-19 lockdown. All tracks were written, recorded remotely, and mixed to perfection. Their full catalog is available on YouTube and Spotify. ​ Their debut album, Brace for Impact, recorded by Luis Bacque and released in November 2024, features 10 original tracks, including a collaboration with vocalist Caleb Hawley.
