“In the true spirit of jazz, where the joys of improvisation, exploration, and musical camaraderie are ever-present, Fabrizio Mocata, Gianmarco Scaglia, and I went into AlfaMusic Studio in Roma one day to have some fun and to play some new music.
The idea wasn’t necessarily to “make a record,” but just to enjoy creating music together for an afternoon. For me, playing with both Fabrizio and Gianmarco is always a great experience and this day was no exception. Luckily, we did this at a wonderful studio, and now, after giving the tracks some time “to age” like a fine wine, we’ve all decided that we do indeed have a CD’s worth of music we’re really proud of.
So here it is, I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it!”
