Tomasz Zawierucha was already able to draw attention to himself during his studies with Thomas Müller-Pering and Monika Rost by winning 1st prizes at the renowned Tokyo International Guitar Competition, at the Concours International de Guitare Ville d'Antony in Paris and at the Dundee International Guitar Competition in Scotland. Commenting on his solo recital at Tokyo's Bunka-Kaikan Recital Hall, Gendai Guitar Magazine said he was "undoubtedly one of the most interesting figures on the guitar scene of his generation". Invitations to well-known festivals such as the Stuttgart International Classic Guitar Festival, the Big Guitar Weekend Glasgow or the Tokyo Guitar Festival and the Rencontres de la Guitare Paris followed. Tomasz Zawierucha has also worked as a teacher in master classes and as a jury member in various international guitar competitions. In chamber music he has worked with artists such as Thomas Müller-Pering, John Dearman and Olaf Van Gonnissen. Recordings for radio stations were made in Germany (MDR, WDR), Italy (RT), Poland (PR2), Japan (NHK), France and Spain. His CDs "The Twilight Zone" and "Un tiempo fue Itálica famosa" have been awarded by the international specialist press (GuitarArt Magazine, The Times, The Records Geijutsu Disc Review)
