Bartek Duś (*1988 Katowice, Poland) completed his classical saxophone studies with distinction at the Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice with Bernard Steuer and then studied with Claude Delangle at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris. Bartek Duś is a laureate of Polish and international competitions. In 2007 and 2009 he was awarded the main prize at the Warsaw Competition for Young Musicians of the 20th and 21st Centuries. At the 3rd International Michal Spisak Music Competition in Dabrowa Górnicza, Poland, in 2009 he received the 1st prize and the gold medal. In 2011 he won one of the two prizes at the 2nd international woodwind competition “hülsta woodwinds” organized by the GWK and the furniture manufacturer hülsta in Münster. He also won 1st prize in the Yamaha Foundation Scholarship Competition and 1st prize in the Polish Ministry of Culture's "Concert of the Year 2012".
Magdalena Wojciechowska (*1983 Przemysl, Poland) studied piano with Hanna Kryjak from 2001 to 2006 and graduated with honors from the Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice. Today she teaches there herself. Magdalena Wojciechowska has received many awards. In 2004 she was a semi-finalist at the Bedrich Smetana International Piano Competition in Pilzno, Poland, and in 2005 she received third prize at the Petar Konjovic International Piano Competition in Belgrade. In 2009, the composer Zdzislaw Szostak gave her a prize for the best performance of one of his pieces.
