This is Oliver Mally's twenty-second album. And certainly not his last. On tour of the 'best blues singer in the country' (Samir H. Köck, 'Die Presse') anyway constantly - between Hamburg and Budapest, Graz and Waidhofen an der Thaya, but in between also like the Himalayan Blues Festival in Nepal. 'He plays his guitar still himself, he sings with passion, heart and soul, he feels himself'.
His solo-program, mainly focuses on self-composed Blues and Songs. These songs are based on traditional songwriting a’la Townes van Zandt or Steve Earle but also inspired from blues legends like Muddy Waters, Lightnin’ Hopkins, John Lee Hooker …
Covers written by this great artists complete his solo-show. And he doesn’t go for copying each song “note by note” but likes to give each song his personal feel.
