The Drum as a voice in itself is the absolute protagonist of this work, but in an absolutely melodic guise as it is itself beat and melody, song and pulsation at the same time. The Voice, key element, characterizing and essential of the disc, a song steeped in the past, intimate, personal. The instruments of the Italian tradition such as the tambourine, the tammorra, the drum, the marranzano (or scacciapensieri), the chestnuts, rise to protagonists thanks to Andrea's continuous creations and inventions.

In some pieces, electronics are skilfully mixed with archaic instruments and vocals, creating layers and substrates of sound; in other pieces, on the contrary, a few acoustic elements with a powerful and evocative sound dominate, highlighted by a sound recording and a stubborn and conscious mixing that enhances every nuance. Few but essential travel companions complete the mosaic giving it richness and depth.
