Yasunori Imamura is Japanese but lives in German-speaking Switerzland; which serves as the base for his splendid career. The first volume of this set featuring the complete lute sonatas by Silvius Leopold Weiss; which was released by Claves in 2006; was crowned with a number of awards including a magnificent Diapason d’or. Two years later Japanese lute player Yasunori Imamura; who now resides in Switzerland; is back with the second volume dedicated to the Baroque master admired by Bach himself.
