Florin Niculescu - Le temps des violons (2021)

At the head of a high-flying quartet where the princely guitar of Hugo Lippi shines, and on the strength of a career under the sign of excellence, the Romanian violinist Florin Niculescu celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of his arrival in France in paying homage to the French school of jazz violin, through its four most eminent figures: Stéphane Grappelli, Michel Warlop, Jean-Luc Ponty and Didier Lockwood. The icing on the cake, the violinist invites the immense Stochelo Rosenberg, undisputed master of the gypsy guitar, to the party.
