Les Techno - Flowers For Dystopia (2020)

Impressing with many tracks over the years, from “Trophy Wife” to
“Edge of the World,” Les Techno continues to succeed with a creative
vein of rock with meaningful lyrical messaging. “Flowers for Dystopia”
conjures ’80s nostalgia with its smooth bass line and guitar licks, as
vocals passionately project a reflective feel. Lyrically, the track
serves as a reaction to being under lockdown for the past several
months. The NYC-based artist explains: “One night, in a dream, I
imagined walking out on a stage in some dingy East Village club, with
the band playing this riff. I approach the mic and, like a wizard’s
incantation, call out “Objects!, Objects!”. I woke up in the middle of
the night, ran down into his studio and started recording it."
