Angelo Cavallo, born in 1984, graduated in trumpet in 2004 at the "G. Paisiello ”of Taranto with Maestro Antonio Carretta.
In the same year he received the prestigious "Rotary Club" award for distinguishing himself in commitment, profit and moral skills. In 2007 he obtained the FIRST LEVEL MASTER in "High specialization for wind instrumentalists in the solo and orchestral repertoire" ACADEMIC YEAR 2006/2007 at the "G. Paisiello "of Taranto in collaboration with the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome. In 2011 he obtained the "Master of Arts in Music Performance" with Maestro Francesco Tamiati (principal trumpet of the orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan) at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland in Lugano, obtaining the Diploma (equalized second level European degree ).
He collaborates with several orchestras among which stand out:
Haydn Orchestra of Trento and Bolzano (first trumpet) Cairo Symphony Orchestra (Principal trumpet), Mantua Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of the Regio Theater of Parma, Orchestra of the Carlo Felice Theater of Genoa (first trumpet), Orchestra of the Arena of Verona, ICO International Orchestra della Magna Grecia (first trumpet), Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala, Orchestra of the Teatro la Fenice of Venice, Philharmonic Orchestra of the Fenice of Venice, Philharmonic of Verona, Orchestra of the Petruzzelli Theater of Bari, Collegium Musicum, Orchestra I.C.O. symphonic lyric “T. Brunello, S. Bollani, Geir Botnen, A. Ciccolini, NOA, Cammarie, F. Bosso, and many others. He attended the free specialization course at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome with Maestro G. In 2004 he won the audition at the I.C.O. Della Magna Grecia where he held the role of First trumpet until 2010. In 2007 he won the competition at the Civic School of Francavilla F.na for the professorship of trumpet teacher. In 2010 he won the International Principal Trumpet competition at the Cairo Symphony Orchestra. In 2012 and 2015 he was eligible for the Haydn Orchestra of Trento and Bolzano. In 2014 he won the International competition for Principal Trumpet super solist at the Daegu Symphony Orchestra (South Korea).
He has recorded for the Vatican, Rai Uno, Mediaset, RSI Radio of Italian Switzerland, Preludio Music, Azzurra Music, Milano Dischi, Fluente Records and other Italian labels.
In 2015 he recorded his first album as a soloist (trumpet and piano) for Preludio Music in Milan. In 2016 he published, again with Preludio Music, Bouquet Musiche, an innovative recording project in which the solo trumpet is supported by a quartet of saxophones (the Ferrara Saxophone Quartet). In 2017 he published with Dynamic a project on Arban - Verdi (cornet and piano ), the complete themes with variations on the works of Giuseppe Verdi written by JB Arban. A double CD for the first time in history. In 2019 he released the Italian Baroque Concertos album with Fluente Records, music by Marcello, Vivaldi, Torelli and Tartini transcribed for organ and trumpet.
