RAVENWORD is a Symphonic Power metal band hailing from Italy, inspired by the novel The Raven (E.A.Poe) and the aim to recreate the romantic and decadent poetic themes of that period into a personal music style. Created in 2007 by keyboardist and composer Davide Scuteri, after a short period of activity the band went into a hiatus until 2016, when Chiara Tricarico (Sound Storm, Moonlight Haze, ex-Temperance), Michele Olmi (Skeletoon, Chronosfear) and Cesare Ferrari (Choir Of Veritas) joined the band. 'Transcendence' is a collection of super-melodic, symphonic power metal tracks with catchy choruses and beautiful melodies, enriched with fast keyboard solos and both modern and operatic vocals and powerful choirs.
