An outstanding harmonica player, Smith played with a variety of Blues musicians such as Big Mama Thornton and Bacon Fat whilst pursuing a solo career. He died tragically young at the age of 59 in 1983. This is a fresh reproduction of Walter's material with better vocals and this should be a springboard for you to seek out more from George "Harmonica" Smith.
