Ozma – French Explosive Jazz - Hyperlapse (2020)

Composed by drummer and leader Stéphane Scharlé, this 7th album by Ozma has been designed as a moving photograph. This translates into a travel diary of 10 tracks each dedicated to a city that the five musicians of the group discovered together, during an incredible world tour in 2018.

The name of the album Hyperlapse is taken from the audiovisual register. It is a process of dynamic capture split around a fixed subject, creating a disturbing, organic impression, of acceleration of real time.

This nod to the image announces the very cinematic atmospheres found in the album and echoes the experiences of music in the image of the composer Stéphane Scharlé. It also refers directly to the work led by director Juliette Ulrich, who has followed the group for this year around the world and has signed productions (video clip, web series) that will accompany the album's release.
