For three years of relentless touring in support of the massive comeback of the album “13 Voices”, frontman Derik Whibley assiduously collected the ideas of the songs, which eventually became “Order In Decline”. Within three weeks after returning home, most of the music for the new album was written, and then it was time for the lyrics.

Without realizing it, Whibible saw how the lyrics of the songs reflect his reaction to the all-pervasive division, racism and hatred throughout the world, further emphasized by the repulsive social and political unrest invading his own countries - the United States and Canada. "The last thing I wanted to do was to record an album of social or political protest, and Order In Decline is not a social or political protest at all," explains Weeblee.
