Nick Earle is a Canadian guitarist, singer-songwriter from St. John's, Newfoundland. Nick began his career in the music industry as one half of the nationally recognized duo “Earle and Coffin”. As part of this duo he has received two Canadian Folk Music awards, 2 MusicNL awards and a multitude of ECMA, Maple Blues and MusicNL nominations. While celebrating the success of Earle & Coffin, Nick has now stepped out in his solo career with his debut project, Breaking New Ground, which is set to release on June 01, 2019. Nick brings his unique combination of soulful vocals and unorthodox guitar playing to this solo effort and the combination is an unqualified success.
Breaking New Ground is a compilation of Folk-Rock originals written primarily by Nick Earle, with co-writes by Rachel Cousins, Quote the Raven, and Christian Howse, as well as a unique arrangement of John Prines' Angel From Montegomery.
“This... is the starting point for a new musical endeavour, and Iʼm beyond excited for the journey to come.”~ Nick Earle
