Canadian singer-songwriter Cara Luft, co-founder of the folk supergroups The Wailin' Jennys and The Small Glories, returns with her first solo album in over 13 years, titled "My Heart Will Always Be." The release represents the culmination of decades spent navigating the music industry and finding equilibrium between artistic integrity and business demands.
Exclusively fan-funded and recorded alongside a trusted creative entourage, the album centers on the healing and unifying power of folk and roots music. Prioritizing direct human connection over digital streaming platforms, Cara Luft made the deliberate choice to first distribute physical copies of the album during live performances, emphasizing shared in-person listening experiences.
