"Bob Sings And Plays" is a posthumous studio album by American guitarist and songwriter Bobby Sutliff, released on September 5, 2023, via the independent label Career Records.
Bobby Sutliff achieved cult status in the 1980s as a co-founder and primary songwriter for the influential jangle-pop band The Windbreakers; he later went on to play with the group Donovan's Brain.
The album "Bob Sings And Plays" has a poignant backstory: Sutliff began writing and recording these songs in 2011, purely for his own enjoyment. Working alone in his home garage studio—dubbed "Skrang Studio"—in Ohio, he completed the project in May 2022. The musician never intended for these recordings to be released to the general public. Three months later, in August 2022, Bobby passed away from cancer.
