The Vietnam Veterans – The Days Of Pearly Spencer (1988)

The Days Of Pearly Spencer (1988) is a compilation album—effectively the final release (before a long-standing breakup)—by the French garage/psychedelic rock band The Vietnam Veterans, issued in 1988 on the German independent label Music Maniac Records.
The record served as a summation of the first, classic phase of the band’s career, which originated in the town of Châlons-en-Champagne. With this release, the label officially declared: "The Vietnam Veterans no longer exist." The album features rare "night session" recordings, re-recorded demos from earlier years, and signature cover versions that became the hallmark of The Vietnam Veterans within the European psychedelic and garage underground.
