Los Plantronics - The Worst is yet to Come (Best of 1995-2017) (2017) [Hi-Res]

Los Plantronics is a Norwegian musical collective from Oslo, founded in 1994 by guitarist Tore Erik Hovne under the stage name Signor Havn. The band performs an original blend of surf rock, garage punk, Mexican mariachi motifs, and spaghetti western music, performing on stage in traditional Mexican wrestling masks (luchadores). The permanent core of the ensemble consists of five members: Tore Erik Hovne (leader, vintage fuzz guitar), Kjetil Jakobsen (drummer, who plays his kit standing up and performs vocal parts), Didrik Lund (who plays an authentic analogue Hammond B3 organ), Lars Erik Larsen (bass guitar with a distortion effect), and Bendik Brænne (a professional jazz saxophonist who leads the brass section). Over the thirty years of the collective's existence, more than a hundred guest session musicians have participated in their recordings and live concerts. The band's official discography includes seven studio albums: "Mariachi Death Surf" (1999), "Columbian Necktie – Mexican Rumble" (2001), "La Orchestra Diabolica" (2003, which served as the basis for seven tracks in your list), "Rancho Notorious!" (2007), "Organic Voodoo Soup" (2011), "Surfing Times" (2015), and the full-length release "¡Maximum Mexican R'n'B!" (2026).
