Bilal Nasser - Every Martyr Is A Universe (2026) [Hi-Res]

BAND/ARTIST: Bilal Nasser

Palestinian-Canadian guitarist Bilal Nasser has released a new album, “Every Martyr Is A Universe,” on the Montreal label Constellation. Recorded primarily in his independent studio in Windsor, Ontario, the project became a collective expression of solidarity and resistance. Nine local musicians helped Bilal Nasser create the album’s ceremonial orchestrations during student protest encampments against the genocide in Gaza. Addressing these themes, Bilal Nasser explores the value and meaning of art in times of crisis. The album combines acoustic guitar techniques with expansive arrangements for strings and woodwinds, bringing together post-rock and post-classical music. This work carries on Constellation’s political and musical legacy and will appeal to fans of artists such as Thee Silver Mt. Zion and Esmerine.
